Helping ambitious women move from burnout to belonging

Dr. Lauren Chase, Licensed Therapist Offering Virtual Therapy for Women in Marvin NC, Kiawah Island SC, and Miami Beach FL

If the pressure to perform, perfectionism, boundary fatigue, and relentless overthinking have taken over your internal world,

You’re in the right place.

I’m here to help you stop spinning, breathe, and reconnect with who you really are.

I’m Dr. Lauren Chase, a licensed mental health counselor specializing in virtual therapy for high-achieving women in North Carolina, South Carolina, Idaho, Vermont, and Florida. Over the past nine years, I have helped women who feel overwhelmed by expectations, family roles, internal pressure, and external stressors find steadiness, reclaim their energy, and rediscover what truly matters.

This is your invitation to stop surviving and start feeling steady.

You deserve a space where you don’t have to wear the mask of “having it all together.” Here, you can exhale, you can be real, you can curse, and you can grow. If you’re tired of saying “yes” when you mean “no,” forever trying to prove yourself, or exhausted from keeping everything balanced. Let’s meet where you are and move forward together.

High-Achieving Women’s Therapist in Marvin NC, Kiawah Island SC, and Miami Beach FL

My style

I believe that a strong, genuine connection between us is the foundation of good therapy.

In therapy with me, you’ll find a space that is real, collaborative, and grounded in practical growth. I won’t just listen. I’ll partner with you to understand what’s driving your patterns, help you develop tools that fit your life, and support you as you build lasting confidence, clarity, and self-trust.

Here’s what that looks like:

  • Warm, down-to-earth support where you can show up honestly, just as you are.

  • Practical tools for boundary-setting, anxiety regulation, and values-based decision-making.

  • Insight into past patterns so you can understand why you respond the way you do today.

  • A supportive partnership that both challenges and encourages you, because growth happens with support, not perfection.

Therapy with me is empathetic and empowering, a place where you can discover what you really want, why you are stuck, and how to move toward a life that feels more connected to you.

Before focusing my work on women and mothers, I spent many years as a child therapist. That experience still shapes how I support my clients today. Working closely with children and families gave me a deep understanding of how early experiences and family roles influence the patterns we carry into adulthood. Many of the high-achieving women and moms I work with have spent years being the responsible one, the one who keeps everything together. In our work, we bring awareness to those patterns so you can respond to yourself and your relationships with more intention, confidence, and self-trust.

My guiding principles

Relationship

You deserve a space where you do not have to perform, explain, or hold everything together, just a grounded connection where you can finally exhale.

Empowerment

You will learn to trust yourself, set boundaries that actually stick, and show up with the confidence you’ve been working so hard to find.

Personalization

Your life is complex, so your support should be too. Everything we do is tailored to fit your real world, your patterns, and your goals.

Humility

Your experiences do not exist in a vacuum. I honor your story, your identity, and your context so you never feel misunderstood, minimized, or judged.

It’s okay to stop and catch your breath.

You don’t have to earn your rest.

Your experience matters.

I became a therapist because I believe people deserve to feel grounded, seen, and capable, even in hard seasons of life. My training includes a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, clinical work across community and private practice settings, and specialized experience working with women who carry the mental load of “doing it all.” Over time, I’ve focused my work on supporting women in navigating stress, boundaries, burnout, people-pleasing, and anxiety, especially when nothing ever feels like enough. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in nature, trying a new recipe (with mixed results), traveling when I can, or laughing with my partner and our dog and cat at home.

If what you’re feeling right now, the overwhelm, the fatigue, the longing for peace and confidence, resonates with you, that’s meaningful. It means you’re ready for something different. Therapy isn’t about being “fixed.” It’s about understanding yourself better, gaining tools that help, and finally feeling supported through it all.

Schedule your first appointment to talk about what’s going on and explore whether we’re a good fit. You deserve support that understands your world, your drive, your heart, and your experience.
